The 5th "Physics of the Intracluster
Medium: Theory and Computation" workshop will be hosted on March 4-6
2019 by the MTA-ELTE Lendület Hot Universe Research Group in Budapest. The workshop is co-sponsored by the University of Hamburg. The intent is to create a highly interactive environment involving researchers who share overlapping interests in the physics and dynamics of ICMs. Discussions in previous of these workshops included such issues as shocks, cold fronts and turbulence in the ICM; the evolution, amplification and consequences of ICM magnetic fields; non-thermal particles, their generation and emissions; the coupling between AGN or galaxy outflows and the ICM; microphysical, plasma processes and their roles in ICMs. Scientific Organizing Committee (SOC):
